- First it is important to know your way of walking. Ideally when you walk or stand your feet should meet with ground evenly and should roll from ankle to toe. It is hard to notice this thing in daily life but a wrong gait can be uncomfortable for your feet and may cause the foot pain. So it is important to walk in a correct gait.
- For people who spent most of the time standing and walking, should take small breaks to sit down and provide rest to your body and massage at the bottom of your feet. If you can’t massage then providing rest can also be a lot helpful. At the end of your day remove your shoes, stretch your legs and massage at the bottom of feet. You can also apply ice to the affected region to reduce the pain and swelling.
- Another important thing that you can do is, to provide comfort to your feet by choosing the correct pair of shoes. There are different shoes available for different activities that you can add to your wardrobe, like sports shoes office shoes and slippers for total comfort. To select a perfect shoe, arch and heel are two important factors which qualify a good shoe.
Everybody has a different arch, so it is important to select a shoe that can support bottom of your feet. Cushioned shoes provide more comfort to your leg. If there is pain in the bottom of the foot and near the heel then this can be a very common chronic problem- Plantar Fasciitis. Before buying any shoe try it and check whether it is comfortable or not.
